Know what you believe and why you believe it.
A series from Pastor Mark Trotter.
Stand-alone Sunday messages that don't belong to a series.
The latest message is, "Who Do You Say That I Am?" by Pastor Ken Harrell.
There is no subject that sparks a wider array of emotions than the “afterlife.” Fear, confusion, uncertainty, intrigue…these are just a few! The reason the afterlife is so concerning is because it is a serious matter. In this series, Pastor Harrell lifts the veil and exposes the truth about the afterlife.
Far more than the sermon…the Bible waist high—right across the plate.

Oh, the wonderful simplicity of John 3:16. For hundreds of years children have committed it to memory, and have been fully able to comprehend its meaning.
But let’s start again.
Oh, the unsearchable depths of John 3:16. For hundreds of years theologians have sought to explore the riches of this incredible verse, only to find its treasures inexhaustible.
Join us for this two-part series, as we seek to enter the glorious depths of God’s simplicity revealed in John 3:16.
Jesus came to this planet on a MISSION. He fulfilled it with His life.
When He left this planet, He left His Church with a MISSION. But, it wasn't just "any" Mission. It was "HIS" Mission. It was "THE" Mission! It includes three things…
There were certain musts in the life and ministry of Jesus. Those musts dictated His schedule…dominated His thoughts…eliminated all distractions…and mandated everything He did.
There is a war that rages on the inside of every true child of God. Galatians 5:17 identifies it as a war between the flesh and the Spirit. It is real. It is fierce. And its ramifications are monumental.
This is a passionate battle cry for every believer to resolve to live out the spiritual revolution God intended their salvation to be.
In Leviticus 6, God told the High Priest that when it came to the flame on the altar, “the fire must never go out.” This meant daily tending to the flame, removing the ashes from the altar, adding firewood, and anything else which kept the fire burning.
The promise of Christmas is the promise of God’s greatest gift to the world—the gift of His Son! Wrapped up in Him are the promises that give us…
Join us in this three-part series as we seek to claim,
“The Promises of Christmas!”
When November rolls around, we think of Thanksgiving…and we think of what we've been thankful for this past year. What was Paul’s meaning behind 1 Thessalonians 5:18, when he said, “Be thankful in all circumstances”? This verse holds a truth which should be displayed in our lives.
With Thanksgiving almost upon us, join us as Pastor Harrell shows us how our lives are to be, “Marked by Thanksgiving.”
Sight—how often do we take it for granted? What if you were born blind? Wouldn’t you do everything in your power to gain sight if the opportunity presented itself?
In the book of John, we have an account of a man who was born blind. There was no hope for him to ever receive his sight. But Jesus had compassion on him. By one great miracle, this man not only received physical sight, he received spiritual sight! In the process, his eyes were opened to who Jesus really was and who He claimed to be! John 9 reveals this progression.
We’re faced with them all throughout the day.
How are you?…Can you get that to me by 5?…Did you catch the game last night?…What’s for dinner?…Do you want fries with that?
We hear them so often that we can answer without thought.
But every once in a while, one will be posed that makes us stop, think and even say…“now that’s a good question.”
In this Sunday morning series, Pastor Harrell asks questions we can’t afford to ignore…questions that demand an answer from each of us.
When Jesus came to the earth in a physical body to carry out His ministry in the first century, He came to minister to a very specific group of people. Jesus identified them in Luke 4:18 as the poor, the brokenhearted, the captives, the blind, and the bruised.
Since Jesus' ministry to the world is now being carried out through us, the spiritual "body of Christ," it would stand to reason that Christ's target for ministry would not be any different in the 21st century than it was in the first.
In the Footsteps of the Apostle Paul
The Apostle Paul was one of the first Christian evangelists and church planters. As the author of almost half of the books in the New Testament, Paul still teaches us what we should know and how we should live. Following in his footsteps will enable us to lives of real significance.
"The reason the Bible says that we are to train our children in the way they SHOULD GO, is because if we don't, they will inevitably end up going the way they SHOULDN'T GO!" says Pastor Ken Harrell.
Learn both the biblical and practical principles you need, to give your children the basic training they need.
All of us set appointments.
Some of them we look forward to (dinner or an outing with friends). Some of them we dread (the dentist or the doctor). Others are just necessary (the hairstylist or an oil change).
Some appointments we keep. Some we forget. Others we choose to reschedule, or maybe even cancel.
These three biblical creatures sound like something straight out of a low-budget sci-fi movie from days gone by. They are creepy. They are powerful. They are a threat to the entire population of planet earth. But, they are REAL!
Learn how to defend yourself.
We can look pretty good on the outside. We know how to act, what to say and can even be immersed in church activities. But dig deeper. When we get to the core of our being, what do we see? Better yet, what does Jesus see?
We need to examine our lives the way Jesus does: from the inside out. The Pharisees in the Bible were viewed as the most spiritual people of their day. But Jesus saw past all that. He knew the hearts and motives of these “religious actors” and saw them for what they were.
God is One incredible Artist! The physical creation is obvious proof of that! But, so is our Old Testament! The Old Testament might be legitimately referred to as "God's Art Gallery of New Testament Truth."
This Sunday we will walk into God's "Art Gallery," specifically in the corridor marked Joshua 15:13-19, to behold one of His beautiful masterpieces…a portrait entitled, "The Lion and His Bride."

A Biblical Approach to the Economic Crisis
We are living in turbulent economic times. The financial crisis that emerged on Wall Street in the fall of 2008 has affected every sector of our society. Bank failures, home foreclosures, massive layoffs, mammoth deficits, the subprime lending crisis, loss of retirement funds and record unemployment have shaken Americans to their core. Many experts believe we are facing a global economic crisis that mirrors the days preceding the Great Depression.
The very first commission man received from God had to do with FRUIT-BEARING. God commanded man to be "FRUITFUL," populating the earth with a race of beings who would love, worship and glorify Him (Gen. 1:28). That has always been God's intention. That's why the very last commission Jesus gave His followers was essentially the very same command. Jesus said, "I have…ordained you, that ye should go and BRING FORTH FRUIT, and that your fruit should remain" (John 15:16; Matt. 28:19-20).
