This was our ninth trip to work with Mi Refugio, a school for children who live in the Guatemala City dump. The trip was February 24 – March 4, 2012.

Accomplished this trip:

• Added two water tanks to the fresh water system at Mi Refugio School
• Construction and electrical projects to improve Mi Refugio facilities and classrooms
• Taught sewing and computer skills to the children of Mi Refugio School
• Led preschool classes for children from the city dump
• Conducted medical and dental clinics for the children and community

• Passion Center Staff Retreat
• Zomba area Pastors’ Conference
• City-wide Crusade
  The idea for the crusade was born in the hearts of the Malawian pastors—who have attended the Pastors’ Conference for the past several years. This will be a collaborative effort between Zomba area churches, the Passion Center and Northwest Bible Church, to host a large evangelistic event for the community.
