Today we really got to experience the heart of Malawi and Christ! In Africa it is tradition that visitors are to be greeted by the community leaders and are to ask permission to spend time in the villages. So we started the day with a major culture experience not to mention a bottled Coke at the end to celebrate! In the afternoon we got to spend time with the teens of the Passion Center and Christ showed His hand in how our plans mean nothing. He has a plan and language cannot stop His plans!

Our team got to experience a place that we as Americans expect for people to have no joy due to poverty and disease. Our group learned what real joy looks like and sounds like from the Passion children and their leaders!

God showed me today that when we surrender—especially in a time of weakness and fear—that He will move in and make unbelievable things happen! As we continue to do God's work, please keep us in your prayers that we will stay surrendered as God works through us.
