One of the highlights of 2011, for the people of Northwest, was the opportunity to band together to send a 40 foot shipping container full of clothes, supplies, tools, and toys to an orphanage in Zomba, Malawi.

Pilira, the director of The Passion Center and Pastor of Mulunguzi Community Church, recently sent the letter below, to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Northwest family.

Greetings Brethren!

This has been an exciting year end. God has blessed us immensely and we have seen great and exponential increase in the Mulunguzi Community Church, our Passion Center ministries, and our individual lives. Please join me in giving God the praise and glory due to Him.

Kindly accept my profound gratitude on behalf of Mulunguzi Community Church, The Passion Center in Malawi, and indeed on my own behalf, for various roles you have played partnering with God in this work. I do realize that you guys have shouldered a huge burden for this gospel work in Malawi. Sacrifices were made and are still being made in terms of time, resources, and more. From our hearts we pray that GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY in this coming year.
