It was a beautiful Friday morning in September when 21 of us left to travel to Guatemala for a 10 day work trip at Mi Refugio in San Pedro. Mi Refugio is a school for children that are unable to attend the state school because of a lack of finances. We have the privilege of ministering for the Lord at this place.

While in Guatemala we are involved in a variety of ministries. Over the past five years we have been involved in building projects around the campus. Two years ago our ladies began to teach sewing as an opportunity for the student to start to develop a still that can be used once they gradate. Dentistry and minor medical services are also provided.

God has given us a unique opportunity to minister by using our hands and our backs to show Christ's love.
