Dear Church family,
This is the first update from Estonia! It has been so exciting to see how God has been at work over the past couple weeks. It started with some passport issues and ended with some flight issues. In each instance, it was only God who can get the credit for everything. With the passports, it was within days the passports arrived, one that was being renewed! The next answer to prayer came at the airport in Columbus. Arriving at the airport we found out that our flights were 3pm instead of 5pm. The next three hours, well, seven hours ended up being an adventure. I am so proud of the team as they just rolled each turn without a complaint! It is not hard to love each and every one of them!

Here is the quick version—after finding out that we had missed our flight from Columbus to Detroit, we had to wait three hours to find out where we were going. At 5:20pm, it was decided that we would fly to La Guardia in New York and would be able to catch a flight to Amsterdam and make our connection for Estonia. The flight was to leave at 6:11pm—plenty of time (four hours) to make the connection even though we had to get to JFK to get the flight to Amsterdam. The plane was late (one and a half) getting to Columbus and then had mechanical problems. We finally left Columbus at 7:50pm. We would arrive in New York at 8:50pm. Only two hours to get our bags, find a shuttle to JFK, get boarding passes, check luggage, go through security, and get to the plane—no problem! As we circled the airport we prayed that God would lead the way.
Pulling up to the gate at 9:15pm, it would take a miracle! God is in the business of miracles! Finally getting off the plane we ran to find a shuttle while others ran to baggage claim. We ordered a shuttle—it would arrive in ten to fifteen minutes. As we were talking to the agent—the shuttle drivers walked through the door!

Today, Saturday, we met with the Estonia team. It was a wonderful time of renewing friendships and getting our hearts and minds focused on the week ahead. There are seventy students enrolled for camp with about 40% of them unsaved. We know that we are in a spiritual battle and we know the enemy didn't want us here. But God… Please continue to pray God would soften the hearts of the students and that we would be used to the honor and glory of God.
Tomorrow we will be attending Risstee Church and then going to the camp to get ready for the students as they arrive on Monday.
Thank you all for your prayers already, God has been at work and we are excited to see what He has in store for us in the week ahead!
