For those who have become Christ-followers, God has given us two very meaningful and effective ways to give witness to our faith: Baptism and Communion. We will be celebrating both in our services this Sunday.
Baptism is a believers once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to proclaim their faith in Christ. It demonstrates outwardly and physically what has taken place inwardly and spiritually. Communion is a beautiful and meaningful time of celebration that puts us in remembrance that we all share the "common union" of salvation through the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. As always, please prepare for this time according to the instruction given in 1 Corinthians 11:23-32.
