Awana Kickoff Night

Sept. 14, 2025

6–7:30pm

6639 Scioto Darby Creek Road, Hilliard, OH 43026

Awana is a high-energy night where kids (ages 3 through 6th grade) grow in faith through Bible memory, fun games, and small group time with trusted leaders. Each evening is designed to help kids meet and follow Jesus by building friendships, engaging with God’s Word, and having a blast.

We meet Sunday evenings from 6–7:30pm during the school year. The new Awana year begins Sunday, September 14.

What happens at Awana?

Each night is designed to balance connection, learning, and fun… helping kids grow spiritually and relationally in a safe and structured environment.

The evening is divided into three parts:

  1. Game Time
Kids play fun, team-based games (often on the Awana circle) that promote teamwork, movement, and laughter.
  2. Handbook Time
During this time, kids meet in small groups to work through their handbooks, memorize Bible verses, and earn awards for their progress.
  3. Council Time
Everyone gathers together for a large group moment that includes singing, a Bible lesson, and celebrating awards earned that night.

Who is Awana for?
