Providing new winter coats for students in our Hilliard community
As temperatures drop, we have an opportunity to make sure local kids stay warm this winter. We’re partnering with local elementary schools to provide new winter coats for students who need them most.
Starting this Sunday, October 26, you’ll find cards in the lobby with coat sizes—each card shows a size and whether it’s for a boy or girl. These coats will be personally delivered to elementary schools in our community where counselors and principals have identified specific needs.
Here’s what to do:
Once all the cards are taken, you can still help! Just bring any new coat for school-aged kids and teens (kindergarten through 12th grade). We’ll donate these through Hilliard’s Cram the Cruiser.
When you buy a coat, you’re not just keeping a kid warm—you’re showing them their community cares. We’ll personally deliver these coats to local schools, making sure they reach the students who need them most. It’s a practical way to love our neighbors and make a real difference for families facing tough choices this winter.
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” —Matthew 25:40
