Pastor Anthony, Pastor Cory, and a few others from Northwest are in the Dominican Republic this week with Jonathan Autrey, who has preached here at Northwest. They’re there for a conference with the pastors he serves alongside, running Thursday and Friday, October 29–30. When the idea first came up, it was a handful of pastors. Now 71 have registered.
Most of these men are bivocational. They preach every week with far less than we have, and God is using them to save souls and change lives. They rarely get poured into themselves, so we’re covering their travel, a hotel, and their meals, and our team gets to spend these two days teaching and encouraging them. Your generosity is what makes that possible.
Would you pray for them during the conference, and as they head home to preach on Sunday? Ask God to sustain them with His grace, guard their marriages and families, build His church through them, and renew their strength for the work.
Pray through their names on your phone, or print the list and keep it where you’ll see it. The list is available through Sunday, November 1.
