Awana is Sunday evenings, beginning September 12, from 6–7:45pm
Parents, join us on this first evening for VIP (very important parents) night. Play games with your kids, participate in handbook time, and hear how you can help make this an amazing Awana year for your child.
“Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed” is the foundation for the Awana program. Awana is an international children's program with thousands of clubs around the world.
Awana meets Sunday evenings at 6pm here at the church. The evening is divided into three parts:
- Game Time
Game time is designed for children to have fun and learn to be a part of a team. Games revolve around the Awana circle and allow everyone to participate. Once a year, children are given the option of training and participating in the Awana Olympics.
- Handbook Time
Each child in Awana works through assignments in their handbook at their own pace. During Handbook Time, children recite memory verses and have the opportunity to earn awards and badges for their Awana uniform.
- Council Time
During Council Time, all students come back together for singing, a Bible lesson, and an awards ceremony to distribute awards earned that evening.
